Dr. Brian Dedmond
is a 1999 graduate of Lincolnton High School. In high school, Brian became interested in dentistry by observing in his fathers's dental office. He then went on to attend the University of North Carolina to persue a degree in biology. Dr. Brian received his dental degree from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry, graduating with honors. He then went on to attend a one year residency of Advanced Education in General Dentistry at UNC School of Dentistry. Brian has enjoyed working with children at extramural rotations at Lincoln Health Services, Cherokee Indian Health Services, Tri-County Community Health (Newton Grove, NC), and various other public health facilities. He is a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. Brian and his wife, Kris, live in his home town of Lincolnton.
Dr. Antuan Herriott
was born in Junction City, Kansas. As part of a military family, he has had the opportunity to live in Germany for a number of years as well as 6 states in the continental U.S. before calling Charlotte, North Carolina home. Dr. Antuan moved to his parents' hometown of Sumter, South Carolina where he attended Sumter High School. He involved himself in many activities in high school including serving as a mentor and counselor at the local Boys and Girls Club. Upon graduation he accepted an academic scholarship to Winthrop University where he received a degree in Chemistry. After several internships in the fields of chemistry and health, Dr. Antuan chose to attend dental school at the Medical University of South Carolina. At MUSC, he devoted time to work with kids by volunteering with the Give Kids a Smile program. He was selected by the MUSC College of Dental Medicine to serve on a university wide student panel encouraging minority students to pursue careers in the field of health. He has also participated in an annual lecture series by giving seminars to Winthrop University students about the career of dentistry. His hobbies include weightlifting, music composition, and reading. Dr. Antuan has committed himself to inspiring young people from all walks of life to achieve their goals.
Dr. Noel F. Fox
While a senior at Hunter Huss High, Dr. Noel joined the U.S. Marine Corps. After graduation, he served for four years. He was deployed to Japan, where he received a meritorious promotion to corporal and was selected Marine of the Quarter. He saw action in Panama during Operation Just Cause and was awarded the combat action ribbon. He was subsequently deployed to the Middle East for Operation Desert Storm.
After separation from the Corps, Fox attended the Oregon State University and obtained a bachelor of science degree in biology. He then went on to the University of North Carolina at Chapel HIll, where he earned a doctorate in dental surgery from UNC's College of Dentistry. Noel, his wife, Katherine, daughter, Helen Li, and son, Mac, live in Gastonia, North Carolina.
